How does paying for parking at the beaches work?
Generally, there's no difference between parking at the beaches and in cities in the Netherlands. Each parking zone is always identified by a 4-digit number. This number can be used and entered in a parking app. This allows you to extend your parking time flexibly and always keep track of your parking time. According to EasyPark, it's still a good idea to put a small sign behind your windshield for the parking attendant. Note: EasyPark. We haven't had any problems so far.

Where is the nearest supermarket?
Depending on what you're looking for, there are various supermarket options nearby. For quick groceries, you'll find a supermarket right in the park. Bonn's Dagmarkt in Wolphaartsdijk offers a larger selection and local products, as well as a bakery. For a larger weekly shop, we recommend the Lidl in Goes. A note for Lidl Plus app users: You can change the country to the Netherlands in the settings to benefit from local offers, but keep in mind that this will change the app language 😉.
Where is the nearest beach?
The location of our holiday home is ideal for beach lovers! The nearest beach on Lake Veerse is about a 10-minute walk away. And if you just want to step out onto the water for a quick stroll to enjoy the view or along the harbor, it's even closer: just walk over the dike near the supermarket and you're right there.
